Today, I bring you another dish that is very expensive in restaurants but less than half the cost if you cook it at home. Furthermore it is such an easy recipe with only a few ingredients. You can substitute the flower crabs with mud crabs. I have also substituted the crabs for large prawns and it taste equally good!!
100 g Q.B.B Ghee
10 g green bird eyes chillies, pounded coarsely
2 sprigs curry leaves
1200 g flower crabs, cleaned and halved
200 g evaporated milk
4 g salt
5 g sugar
30 g Q.B.B ghee
- Heat Q.B.B ghee in a wok and add the chopped chilli padies and curry leaves and sauté until aromatic.
- Add in the cleaned crabs and stir fry till it changes colour.
- Add in the evaporated milk, salt and sugar and simmer the crabs for 10-15 minutes in this sauce till the crabs are cooked and the gravy thick and coats the crabs.
- Add in the 30 g of Q.B.B ghee and let it melt into the crabs.
- Serve hot with bread.
